The Winery at Sassafras Springs Vineyard.

The Winery at Sassafras Springs Vineyard is one of Northwest Arkansas’ premiere wineries. Enjoy exceptional wines from all around the world inside our beautiful tasting room, under our covered patio next to the fireplace, or on one of our many over-sized decks.

Currently, we are producing around 1000 cases of wine each year in our production building. These wines consist of Syrah, Chardonnay, Rose and Riesling. Sassafras Springs Vineyard has been voted Northwest Arkansas’ best local winery in Citiscapes, Arkansas Democrat Gazette, and Celebrate magazine.

The winery is a very unique setting.  The building that houses the wine tasting room began its life more than 50 years ago as milk barn.  The old milk barn has many features that are still prevalent and recognizable today. Family and friends gather here to taste Sassafras’ award winning wines, as well as the many wines offered from around the world.  In addition to our international selection of wines we also offer local Arkansas wines and beers.

The decks at the winery are situated under a canvas of large trees.  There are 3 large decks, an enclosed patio, creekside patio, and a covered patio.  On Friday and Saturday nights we offer live music from local musicians from 6:00-9:00pm (April-October).

We offer dinner on Friday and Saturday nights from 6:00pm-8:30pm; however, dinner reservations must be made in advance.  We always have beautiful charcuterie and fromage boards available that include: meat, cheese, grapes, olives, nuts, crackers, bread and honey.  This is a wonderful way to experience the tastes of local artisans.

You can stroll the 30 acres and visit our Chapel Ruins, our wine making facility, or our Event Center at the Stables.

The Wine Manufacturing Building and Office

This beautiful building sits between the winery and the Stables. The lower floor houses our wine making facility, and the upper area is a private space overlooking the property. You will often see our wine maker perfecting his craft in this area.
